Starla's Candle Making Best Picks

My pick of the best places on the web to go to for candle, crafts, instructions and some fine "mom and pop" wholesale shops. In no way do I receive any money for the links, nor am I advertising for others. It is strictly what I like.

Ever wanted to start a candle making business, or a wax dipped bear business, but don't want to pay retail? Ever wondered where all the other candle making companies buy their supplies from?

Start you own home based business today.

We offer all of the companies that we purchase our supplies from for only 199.99.
These are the same companies that we use, that other online companies use.

These are the real manufactures, not other retail companies like Bittercreek, Peak Candles, and other on line retailers.

Candle wick.

There are three main components in a scented candle, the wax, the scent, and the wick.

Wicks allow the melted wax to be drawn up to the flame. To begin with the flames heat melts the wax, then the pool of melted wax is pulled up into the flame, once there a chemical reaction occurs causing hydrocarbons and oxygen to be released into the air.

A candle's flame is almost non existent near the wick. The wax vapors are dispensing the hydrogen there. Soot forms, eventually burning and creating the yellow color of a candles' flame.

With plenty of oxygen and small amounts of wax vapor occurring in the wick, then the soot is entirely burned up in the flame. The candle allows only water, carbon dioxide, light, and heat to be released into the atmosphere.

Without enough oxygen and an over abundance of vapor, the fire is going to have excess soot. The soot won't be able to burn up. This will cause a mushroom to form at the top of the wick.

Lots of websites can't get noticed on an ever growing internet. It is a crowded place. For some webmaster, placing their site in an Open Directory helps their sites get noticed. Zeen.com Search, Find, Connect is one of these directories. They will exchange links with most sites, as always, kid friendly, family friendly sites are welcome.

So far Zeen had 30,000 websites listed. If you want to add yours, they will be glad to have you.
